S&M are a London based cleaning company  that offer a complete range of cleaning and maintenance solutions throughout London and the home counties.

We are undergoing a complete overhaul to better serve our customers, including a full re-brand, internal management system upgrade and an online re-design which includes our website. 

OUR HERITAGE

S&M Cleaning was founded as a private, family run company. The company has grown into one able to provide services at a corporate level.

Through the blending of family morals, the corner stone of the business, and the introduction of an integrated management within the core of the operations, this gives S&M a unique ability. The ability to operationally handle the largest of contracts whilst retaining the same care and consideration for all staff and handling of works as if they were smaller contracts being completed by the very family operatives all those years ago.

OUR MANAGEMENT

Integrated ISO management system. S&M Cleaning & Support Services Ltd have integrating their ISO 9001, ISO 14001 &  ISO 45001 to ensure the company is running the way it should be at every stage.

By integrating their ISO systems into a single, integrated management structure they are ensuring every member of S&M is protected no matter the task or role. Through this system S&M ensure the protection of all staff, ensures the company performs optimally with the  best ethical, safe and environmentally friendly practices available whilst maintaining each and every work site is handled correctly, professionally and to the highest of standards every visit.

Quality Management. Our quality management system has been devised and is delivered against our business services and strategy to ensure customer requirements and satisfaction is being delivered correctly. By creating and implementing standard procedures and SOPs (standard operating procedures), S&M are focused and dedicate to serve each and every customers right every time, across all works.

Environmental Management. Working within the cleaning industry, S&M have a moral obligation to ensure the business being conducted is foremost focused on the protection of the environment from the way it delivers services to the impact the business has on indirect environmental factors.  It is through our environmental management system S&M assess and structure our operational decisions. From the selection of low carbon vehicles, effecting route planning to minimise miles travelled right down to the selection of non-biological cleaning products.  

Health & Safety Management. Safety is paramount in the continued efforts of S&M. Our health and safety management system is an integral framework without our operations and fundamental beliefs of how a company should be operated. Our system was designed to effectively manage all safety including the communications of all works effectively to staff as we strive for a 100% awareness strategy across the company.

Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Targeting. In order for us to deliver the best services to customers, we have devised our own internal KPI system. By establishing and defining set goals for the company we then establish actionable KPI targets each area of the company aims towards. The results from our key performance indicators allow us to set further targets and implement our growth strategies.

We use KPI targeting system to ensure all areas of the business are actively working towards company wide targets and actionable development for both customers and growth. Knowing how the different areas of our business are performing help us to assess where S&M is strong, where it is weaker and factors we can change for the better.

Most frequent questions and answers

S&M Continue to deliver their services and their COVID-19 services.

Yes. S&M have a dedicated operational team and cleaning team that covers all contracts, directly manged and employed by the company.

S&M ensure that all staff are paid fairly and in accordance with national wage and company payment structures. Where our clients and contracts allow it, S&M will enforce a London Living Wage for all workers as part of our scheme participation. 

S&M primarily covers London and the surrounding counties. Where contracts are part of a larger contract for clients, S&M do deliver nationally.

One off cleans can be completed by our team. S&M deliver both contracts and reactive services for the commercial sector.

S&M are accredited to ISO 9001 & 14001 standards and operate a H&S management system that runs against the ISO 45001 standards.

S&M are able to deliver national contracts despite primarily working within London and surrounding counties. Our national services are delivered as part of multi-site cleaning management.
